Ocean Grill

Do you like seafood? How about a beautiful view of the ocean and boats? Do you have a boat? Well I know a great place you can go to eat. It is called Black Point Ocean Grill. This great place have amazing waiters and waitresses. They are always on top of you and very sweet. Every time I go there they haven't messed up my orders. They have great food and it is nice if you just want to go out with the girls or the guys this is great because it has a bar. The restaurant is right n the water so you can watch the boats come in and out. I just love how peaceful it is. They also have live music on different days.

 

"I go there every Friday with my daughter, it is time that we spend together, kinda like father daughter time. We talk about everything that has happen in our week and how we can get through it. All the workers tere are the best and always making sure we are alright. I truly recommend this place."

Everglades Seafood Festival

Do you like seafood or have a day out with your family and friends? How about different activities?
Well i found a good place you can go. This event is a once a year event, just like the Miami-Dade  Youth Fair. It has live music and fresh seafood. The location is Everglades City, on December thirteenth of every year. The festival is a great place to go hangout with your family and friends. They have rides and games for all the kids. They also have many different types of food. There are also many different booths for everyone. The festival is an all-day event and there are many people, you have to be ready for anything. I do think it would be fun your family and friends if you go together.

"I go every year and i never get bored, I enjoy going on the rides and eating all the different foods. I usually go with my dad and some friend. We would get there at eight in the morning and then leave around six at night."

"My wife and i usually go every year. We take our camper and camp over night. We would even brig food to grill and eat. Usually the Veverkas come by and they would eat dinner with us. We all would have a good time and make memories."

Tourist Trap

This beach brings people from all over the country, every spring break it is filled with young adults from high schools and colleges. This beach is very known as South Beach. South Beach is Miami beaches next door neighbor.  South Beach was originally farm fields and grass in the year 1870. In 1913, people started to make it into a beach, they wanted to connect it with Miami Beach. In 1920, it had finished and was conformed to be South Beach. South Beach has many different stores and restaurants. Most are expensive and at a high quality five star.

"I l love going there with my friends, we stay there all day and find things to do. The beach is well kept and  sence they are rebuilding somethings it looks really nice."

The River of grass

Do you enjoy the swampy river, different wildlife including plants, animals, and water. Do you love going on an air-boat rides, watching alligator wrestling, or just spend time with your family by having a picnic. I know a great place for all these activities, you can go to Everglades National Park. Everglades National Park is in Florida, It's also well known all over the United States. This is the first park that helps protect all the different plants and animals in the environment. It is a very fragile environment. It is also known as the wetlands of Florida. This National Park is open to everyone, it is a public park. They have different activities you can do when you're with your  family. It is one of the most popular parks in Florida in general, for the wildlife and the nature, it is just a breath taking environment. Also you can go hunting, but only during the seasons you can hunt in.

"I go to everglades all the time, I go fishing and and hunting, I go there with my friends and sometimes my family, we always have a great time, when we go to the park it's nice to just have a day out of the city. The park is absolutely beautiful."

River Ranch

Have you ever gone out into the woods? How about taking your ATV out in the mud? How about going for a swim in a swim hole? Well if you enjoy all of these activities you should visit a mud park called River Ranch. In this park you can go camping, fishing, hunting (only during the seasons), and mudding. River Ranch has many acres of different activities. River Ranch is a private area, so you'd have to know someone or have property up there. You also have to wear neon orange in certain areas of the park. Also you have to put neon orange flag on your vehicle, no mater a truck or an ATV. Also you need to have a sticker on your vehicle to show that you're a member of the camp. Also,at your camp sights you can build a little house, use tents, or bring your campers. You can do what ever you want on your property, as long as in legal. River Ranch dose not supply you with food or other items. You have to bring your own. Also you can have camp fires but make sure it is completely out before you go to sleep.  Also if you see any animals out side the hunting area don't mess with them, if you leave them alone so will they. Also be safe and wear helmets when you are on your ATV and do at a safe speed. In my opinion River Ranch is one of the best places to go with your family because you can spend quality time with one another.

Cabin Fever

Ever wanted to just get away from the city life, traffic, and people? well I found the best place you can go with your family! In a little place called St. Petersburg, it's the best way to get out into fresh air and away from the your regular busy life. Ever heard of a St. Petersburg KOA? Well, you are about to! This KOA allows you to rent cabins, bring your RV, or you can even bring your tents to camp out for a few nights. It is even pet friendly environment! Depending on what time of the year you visit the KOA, they plan something almost every day. They have movie nights,  bingo nights, teen club, teen party nights, and even a pool party twelve times a year for the younger kids. They have one every month. Everyone that visits this KOA yearly are very friendly and caring. The KOA is full of fun activity's to do with your family, for instance they have mini-golf, hot tubs, pool, biking, game center, and even boats that you can rent. They also have great fishing spots in the KOA, if you enjoy to fish. But you do need to bring your own food and bedding. Other than that everything is perfect in this little KOA. There is also an old bridge that you can fish off of a mile away from the camping area. It is called the "Sunshine Skyways Bridge" you can fish off there and catch many different fish you can also see on top of the water and maybe even see a shark! In the area there is also many beaches and little stores to shop at.One last part you should go check out before you leave is The Pear, The Pear has many little shops and restaurants to go to. You might even see some dolphins when your over looking the ocean. You should check this KOA out if your ever in St. Petersburg, I guarantee that you would have a great time with your family!

"We always come up here on our spring break, We've been here more times than I can count. I enjoy coming up here because all the different things that are here and not back in Miami. I also enjoy being with my uncle Austin and we always end up getting in some sort or trouble up here. All the members of this KOA are very understanding and polite, and the cabins and bathrooms are always clean."

Our Spot!

This is a picture I took of a little spot in the KOA that my Uncle and I visit all the time, We had even carved our names in a stump bear the water. Every year we put a little line next to our names to show other people how many times we go there!

The Unique Island

There are many places in Florida that are beautiful and unique places, Dry Tortugas. It's a national park in the Florida Keys. This park is the most unique places in the world. This National Park has seven beautiful islands. What makes this unique is there are millions of bricks and different building structure and it's also very mystic. Dry Tortugas is famous for the sea life, coral reefs, and sunken shipwrecks. Many people from all over the world would come to this park to scuba dive, fish and camp with their families.  You can find it in the Gulf of Mexico; it is 70 miles away from the Keys. The island is 98 acres and has white sand to walk on.  People had told me that they heard about the island and told me read about how beautiful the island was but never visited and stayed in the island.  

 

“I have been there with my girlfriend two times and it’s such a beautiful view of the ocean. The only thing we needed to bring was our camping equipment and food. But we did have a really good time.”
